 August 11, Nirvana Day of Khudiram Bose

 Born on December 3, 1889 in Habipur, Bengal.
 Apurunam: Khudiram Triloknath Bose
 Ekhudiram Bose was a young politician from Bengal and a major revolutionary in the fight against British law.
 Was the first revolutionary to be martyred in the early 20th century.
 Ekhudiram Bose was the youngest soldier of the 20th century.
 He was arrested by the police on May 1, 1908.
 Death: He was sentenced to death on August 11, 1908.



 Gujarat

 The Chief Minister announced a cash prize for the film which received the National Film Award

 Recently the National Film Award was held at Delhi.
 AJ was the 66th National Film Features Award.
 The award was given in the 31 Film Features category.
 In AJ, 'Helaroo' has been given the Best Gujarati Feature Film and 'Reva' has been given the Best Gujarati Film Award.
 In AJ, the Chief Minister has announced a reward of Rs two crore for the film 'Hallaroo'.

 CM Rupani will leave for Russia for three days.

 With this they will sign a MOU with Russia for the diamond industry.
 He will join the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Haryana and Goa in the tour.
 Besides, 28 representatives from industry houses will also be joining.

 KVIC launches "Leather Mission" to mark World Tribal Day

 Under this mission the KVIC Commission will provide leather kits to leather artisans across the country.

 Niti Aayog launches 4th edition of Women Transforming India Awards

 This year's theme is "Women and Entrepreneurship" ("Women and Entrepreneurship").
 This year the WhatsApp and Policy Commission will work together at the Women for Transforming India Awards.
 WhatsApp also offers $ 1 million to the winners of this award.
 The Human Transforming India Awards were launched in 2016.
 Purpose: The goal is to honor women who are working hard to change other people's lives.

 The Ministry of Human Resource Development launched the overall Education Water Safety Initiative

 It aims to raise awareness about water conservation among schoolchildren across the country, besides promoting a "water storage" campaign under the Jal Shakti campaign.

  Five main objectives of the scheme

 1).  To raise awareness about water conservation in school.
 2).  To make students aware of the problem of water scarcity.
 3).  Encourage students to conserve natural sources of water.
 4).  Inspire each student to save at least one liter of water a day.
 5).  Ensure minimum water waste to students at home and at school.

 President approves Motor Vehicle Improvement Act, 2019

 The purpose of the Act is to use technology to secure Indian roads, reduce corruption and improve the country's transport system.
 The bill proposes a plan to allow cashless treatment of victims in road accidents during the Golden Hour.
 A period of up to one hour after a traumatic injury has been named the Golden Hour, during which immediate medical care is likely to prevent death.
 Able has proposed increasing the minimum compensation for hit and run cases.
 In case of death, the compensation was increased from Rs 25,000 to Rs 200,000 and in case of serious injury it was increased from Rs 12500 to Rs.  50,000 was made.

 One Nation, One Ration Card will be launched in India by June 1, 2020

 To successfully implement this scheme, the Center has introduced inter-state portability of ration cards, which can be used in pairs of two states.
 This pair is made between Telangana-Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra-Gujarat.
